Singakwazi Aid currently supports two local crèches, the Singqobile Creche and Pre School and the eZakahle Day Care. Each creche has about 38 kiddies ranging from 7 months old to 4 years old.

We donate items in need from beanies, blankets and mattresses to educational toys and materials. We run a sandwich drive every Friday with the uBuntu mom's from Virginia Preparatory School in Durban North. Classes within the school take turns to make and donate peanut butter sandwiches and fruit. We then deliver these to the creches so the little ones can have a wholesome meal.

"Hi my name is Mrs Mkhize, i'm running a creche in Khabazela at Avoca Hills. I love working with children. I believe children should be allowed to be who they are and I love being involved in building up their lives. Children need to be listened to so as that they can express their feelings in an honest and safe environment. I am a professional Educare worker and plan all daily activities for the children. I am always trying to up skill myself and train further so as I can understand the children better and be a part of changing the future of country through our children."
